It has been far too long since I've posted. Since I haven't posted in awhile here's my first photo of a train with my new camera! A canon Rebel T2i!

March Break Railfanning

Starting tomorrow, (Wednesday, March 16) I will be railfanning the Bedford sub until Sunday (March 20). Expect lots of photos and videos to come from this as I did the same thing last March Break but for only 2 1/2 days rather than 5.

Saturday Sightings In Halifax

Yesterday my Uncle and Aunt took a quick trip to the city to buy a computer, and they wanted my advice, so i tagged along. I did manage to see a couple of trains, but no photos or footage, just looked, sometimes that's the best :)

4:10PM AST - CN 507 shunting intermodal cars at Ceres Container Pier. At this time there was no power at Fairview, so I knew 120 wasn't in yet.

5:35PM AST - After supper at Montana's, swung by Rockingham and saw that 120 had JUST gotten in, I missed them taking the front end of the train down to the HIT, but saw their cars backed up almost to Mile 7.

So no footage, but I still saw.

Pacing Shot In The USA

Stumbled across this video on Youtube under my subscriptions. The filmer provides great pacing, and does the wise thing by shooting the whole train at the end.

And here is my most recent "pace shot" if you will of gypsum local, CN 511 through Windsor Junction. Only about 12 seconds or so are of me pacing it.

Well this is my first post to this blog as I accidentally deleted my old blog. I will be tweaking the design and such and plan to post 2-3 times a week. Enjoy!
